Project details
Construction of the ‘Szymanowskiego II’ sewage pumping station and reconstruction of the ‘Szymanowskiego’ sewage pumping station at Kokota Street in the Bielszowice district of Ruda Śląska.
We constructed and commissioned a pumping station that provides flood protection for the flood-prone area around Kokota and Szymanowskiego Streets in Ruda Śląska.
The investment undertaken by the Water Supply and Sewerage Company in Ruda Śląska significantly reduced the risk of flooding within the pumping station’s area of influence.
BREPO’s scope of work included:
- preparation of the structural and civil, process, electrical, instrumentation and control design for the stormwater pumping station, together with modernisation of the entire sanitary sewer pumping process. The design also introduced an innovative solution for controlling and separating sanitary sewage and stormwater in the combined sewer system according to rainfall intensity and the current capacity of the pumping system.
- execution of the process, electrical and instrumentation and control works for the stormwater pumping station, and modernisation of the process and instrumentation and control systems of the sanitary sewer pumping station.
- comprehensive commissioning of the facility.
