Design and construction of a fire-water pumping station at the Tychy Generation Plant.
BREPO completed the construction of a fire-water pumping station for the EC Tychy combined heat and power plant, which belongs to the Tauron Ciepło group. The pumping station provides additional protection for the expanded CHP plant, including its new biomass-fired boiler.
The scope of the project included:
- preparation of the electrical and instrumentation and control design covering the power supply, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) control and facility visualisation in the DCS (Distributed Control System),
- construction of the electrical connection, power and control switchboards, and fire-water pumping-station automation systems,
- comprehensive commissioning of the electrical and instrumentation and control systems at the facility.
