KSW — Jan Błachowicz vs. BREPO

For more than a year, BREPO has supported Polish fighter Jan Błachowicz, who competes in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). The discipline developed in the first half of the 1990s and gained prominence with the first official MMA tournament, UFC 1 (Ultimate Fighting Championship), held in Denver, Colorado, USA, in 1993.

MMA bouts are now held around the world, including in Poland thanks to KSW (Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki). Its first official tournament took place in Warsaw at the beginning of 1994. Due to the sport’s popularity and the interest of its large fan base, KSW events are now organised in major public venues in several Polish cities.

Polsat television provides media coverage for KSW tournaments, broadcasting the events live to a nationwide audience.
